Who We Are

Who We Are...

Welcome…

to Temple Baptist Church! We hope that you will visit our warm, friendly church and experience what it is like to be with people who genuinely love God and one another. This is truly one of the strengths of our church!

Growing together, we worship, we serve, we laugh, we cry, we learn and we reach out to the world with life-transforming truth. We believe that God himself sends every person who comes into this special fellowship, so we reach out to you and open our hearts to you.

If you are searching for a place to belong and this describes the kind of church you would like to be part of, please come and experience Temple Baptist.

Jesus said…”I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me”   – John 14:6

We Believe:

  • The True God: We believe that there is only one living and true God, infinite in every excellence; that in the unity of the Godhead there are three persons; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, yet one in substance and equal in every divine perfection. (Exodus 20:2-3; I Corinthians 8:6; I John 5:7)
  • God the Father: God the Father – We believe in the deity of God the Father, who is coequal in substance and power with the Son and the Holy Spirit. He is the first person of the Trinity and has existed eternally. (Genesis 1:1; Psalms 83:18; Matthew 28:19, 20; John 5:19-27; Romans 8:15; James 1:17)
  • Jesus Christ: We believe in the absolute deity of the Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, that He is divine as no other man can be being very God of very God, existing from all eternity co-equal with the Father and the Spirit; that He has never ceased to be God for one instant and that His humiliation did not consist in laying aside His deity that as a man He was miraculously begotten of the Holy Spirit.

Our Pastor – Gary Bourgeois

Whether you’re a seeker in search of truth, a prodigal returning to faith or a new member of the community looking for a church, we invite you to be our guest at Temple. Here, we seek to embody the love and grace of God and live by His word. This means open arms and an open Bible. Temple is a hospital for sinners, a home for spiritual growth and an outpost for reaching the world for Christ.

Since coming to Temple in 2004, I have truly come to appreciate the people of the Church. Their love for the Lord and love for others is a “dream come true” for any pastor. This does not happen by accident. It only comes when people surrender their lives to the leadership of the Holy Spirit. This is what it means to be a Christian. This is what we want you to find in us at Temple.

As a Church, we desire to be a place where God transforms lives. We strive for relevant Biblical teaching, passionate worship, deep and lasting friendships, consistent prayer and a heartfelt family ministry. Come join us as we grow together in the grace and knowledge of Christ.

May God bless you and keep you as you seek him,

Pastor Gary
